Today I am appreciative for Mark Bilderback. We were sworn in on the same date in 2009 and today our successors will be sworn in. Mark shared my frustrations in the early days and in the successes as we remade city hall in the last 2-3 years. Just about every meaningful change to promote equity, sustainability, transparency, and good government was done with the support of Mark.
Through good times and bad, Mark never stops caring about his family, friends, and community. The areas that Mark & I represent saw the lion’s share of sustainable development in Rochester in the last 12 years.
Fun Fact: If you ever asked Mark how he was doing, he would answer “just about perfect.” His attitude is just that. Everyone should have a passion they love as much as Mark loves baseball.
