Draft MN Government Data Practice Act Request

The following may be cut and pasted by anyone seeking to establish potential Open Meeting Law violations by the Rochester School district.

Superintendent Munoz;

This is a Minnesota Government Data Practices Act Request consistent with MN Statutes Chapter 13. The following data is here by requested. Paper documents are not needed, electronic copies shall meet this request.

  1. All district and elected official communications (including phone records) related to the drafting, approval, and sending of the email to Michael Wojcik on July 17, 2020.
  2. The MN Statute that the School District used to justify a closed meeting on the following topics acknowledged in your July 17 email. 1) Discuss the potential donation of land in the NW Rochester. 2) Data on the cost to modify said property.
  3. The formal notice of any closed meetings to discuss property between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 2019 including the wording that meets that statutory requirement of specifying property location in MN Statute 13D.05 Subd 3. (3). Specifically I wish to see how the legal notice identified the property to be discussed.
  4. The MN Statute that allowed the Rochester School District to discuss any additional properties not disclosed in the legal notice closing the meeting.
  5. All data that was presented in closed meetings to discuss all sites including the proposed donated NW site.
  6. Audio recordings of all closed meetings to discuss property between Oct 1 and Dec 31, 2019 as required by Statute 13D.05 Subd 3. (3).

  1. In section 3 you have Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 2020

    I think you want to change the date to 2019. 🙂

    Keep fighting! There is a huge lack of transparency within RPS. Teachers support you!!
