Local sales tax results

Here is a list of Projects funded or partially funded with local option sales tax dollars since 1983.  Every time Rochester has voted on this we have approved the sales tax by better than a 2-1 margin.  I hope that this continues in 2012.  Big thanks to Gary Neumann for keep track of these projects.

Since 1983 Rochester has used a local sales tax to improve public safety, improve community facilities, expand higher education, protect our water supply, and improve the safety and capacity of our roadways and airport.  This has made Rochester a much stronger and better economic center for Minnesota.  This list of projects could not have been accomplished with local property taxes.
