Nice Bus Shelters

Wow those bus shelters near Mayo on 2nd Street are nice.  I think they each cost more than my first home.  I understand that Mayo Clinic has helped fund some upgrades on the 2nd Street project.

Cost aside, I have always said that if you are going to do something, do it right, and these things are definitely done right.  The call on the same limestone that is used throughout Rochester in our recent Public Works projects.  They will provide commuters with a safe warm shelter and serve as public art in and of themselves.  The first time I saw the lights on I had to stop and watch for 10 minutes.

One comment that I did receive is that we need to slow down the color changes.  It looks like a disco down there right now.
